Introduction

Belgrade, Serbia is located in Eastern Europe, not next to Russia, don’t get confused with that. It is actually right above Macedonia and below Hungary. Belgrade is about at the middle of Serbia.

Serbia is in the climate region that has warm summers and cold winters. The summers start out warm but it starts raining towards the end. Autumns are usually rainy and cold. Winters are also rainy and cold at the beginning but it starts snowing towards the middle of winter and throughout the beginning of spring. Normally snow melts in the middle of spring and it starts to get a bit warmer but it is also a bit rainy. Serbia technically has 4 season climate.

Serbia has natural resources such as limestone, gold, silver, and salt. Surprisingly Serbia uses natural gas for an energy resource, but it also uses renewable resources such as hydropower, wind power, solar energy and geothermal energy. This makes the air quality better. It has less than 100000 gig grams of CO2 emissions. Air quality is one of the 3 most sustainable things in Belgrade; alongside it are innovation and environment standards.
